Vintage Guitar Amplifiers

Several years ago I won an early 60's candy panel AC30 here on ebay. The US seller, who had a couple of other AC30s for sale at the same time, pegged the cabinet as late 60's Vox. At some point in time the cab had been re-covered in what appeared to be Fender tolex and the grill cloth wasn't original. I shipped the cab off to Vintage Amp Restoration to restore and recover it and waited patiently for three long years for Gregg to finish his work. Gregg also thought the cab was a late 60's Vox so I elected to go with a black Vox basketweave skin and a Rose Morris brown grill cloth. The cab looks great. There is a minor snag at the top center of the grill but it's nothing significant. I've included the VAR invoice description so you can see what was done. The back panel isn't original to the amp but I had Greg round the upper corners to be period correct. Here's the kicker; Just before I got the long awaited cab back from Vintage Amp Restoration I decided these AC30s are just too damn heavy and so I purchased a head cab from across the pond. I figure the amp didn't come with its original cab so no big deal and my back thanks me. So, to the best of my knowledge and belief, here is a late 60's Vox AC30 cab for your consideration. U.S Bidders only please and have a decent feedback profile.
