VERY RARE 1980s Sundown Amplifiers Vintage Guitar Amp Head
You are bidding on my Vintage 1960s Sears Silvertone Twin Twelve Guitar Amplifier (tube type amplifier) with the Original Sears Silvertone Speaker Cabinet - There are 2 pieces to this Sears Silvertone Amplifier, the Amplifier itself, Model 1484 and the Speaker Cabinet which has 2 - 12 inch speakers (Jensen Special Design Speakers) and the cabinet also stores the Amplifier (see pictures) - There is some sort of Foot Pedal that says Tremolo and Reverb and has a jack to plug into the amp..... I'll start out by saying I know very little about music instruments, I can't play anything so I try to look around the net to find any information that is helpful to me in giving the buyer a good description. All my musical instruments have been bought out of local estates, most appear to have been not used allot, probably more recreational then for bands or business. I will take plenty of pictures so give them time to download, email me if you need more pictures posted or if you have any questions. I have had someone look at this amp and he says everything is in working condition, but he does not know about the Foot Control???? (he wasn't for sure how this operates). The Speaker Cabinet is about 29 inches long, about 22 inches wide and about 9 inches deep. The Model 1484 Amplifier is about 24 inches long, about 9 inches tall and is about 6 inches deep. Both pieces appear to be original, both have the original strap handles, the 2 Jensen speakers are about 12 inches wide and has no damage to it. The back inside amplifier area where the tubes are located is very very clean (see pictures) and looks very nice, all appears to be original and I believe is all in working condition. The outside finish of the amplifier and the cabinet are very very nice, some very minor scuffs, overall nice!! The amplifier control panel area is very nice also and hopefully my pictures will show this area so you know what you are bidding on. The amp control panel says Sears Silvertone - Twin Twelve - Channel One has 3 knobs, a Volume, Bass and Treble and Channel Two also has 3 knobs and they are the same as Channel One....Underneath both Channel One and Channel Two there are 2 Jacks for both Channels. Other knobs are Depth/Reverb Knob - 2 Tremolo knobs, one is Strength and the other is Speed - Foot Switch Jack- On/Off Switch - Stand by Operate Switch and a Ground Switch.......The back of the amplifier says Model 1484 Amplifier - Sears Roebuck and Co. - 117V - 60C - 100W - 1A - Use only on AC - It also has a Convenience Outlet.... The little metal tags says For Parts or Service from our Retail or Mail Order Stores always give Chassis Number 185-11040 - Sears Roebuck and Co. - USA - In Canada, Simpsons-Sears Limited.......The outside speaker cover is pretty nice, shows very little wear, a couple threads might be sticking out a little. Overall a very nice vintage Amplifier and Speaker Cabinet Set, I think you'll look awhile to find one in this condition........ Shipping cost in the USA will be no more then $75.00 and this amount is based on shipping to the west coast, the closer to Ohio the cheaper the shipping cost will be, email me your zip code for shipping charges to your location. Alaska and Hawaii charges will be more......Pickup would be fine and there would be no shipping charges for pickup (location is Celina, Ohio 45822).......Due to the size of this Amplifier and Speaker Cabinet I will not be able to ship Internationally. Please view my pictures and good luck bidding.........
