Carvin VTR 2800 Tube amp. Made in California, USA in the 1970s.

The VTR 2800 was Carvin's flagship guitar amp from 1976-78. 

This vintage 100 Watt tube amp is in excellent condition, especially considering it's age (no major tears to tolex or grill, just a few scuffs, mostly on the bottom).

In full playing order. Sounds great and has lush "Hammond" reverb.

Clean channel has great spank and sparkle similar to the best Fender amps, touch sensitive--responds to pick attack. Takes pedals well.

Appears all original except one of the two original "Magnalab" 12 inch speakers has been replaced (with an unlabeled 12 inch speaker).  Casters have also been added to allow easy transport.  Finally, a cooling fan was added at some point; it draws heat away from the power tubes.  (The cooling fan has it's own separate power cord.)  

Two Channels: Footswitchable clean and overdrive channels. Two 12 inch speakers.  Included footswitch.

Features a very useful 1/2 power switch that allows it to run at 50 watts RMS or 100 watts RMS.

7-band graphic EQ to allow total tonal control.

Uses four EL34 tubes for power amp section.  Loaded with matched Groove Tubes that have a lot life in them. Preamp circuit appears to be nontube based.
