Vintage Guitar Amplifiers

    This is a pair of vintage Ampeg s-48 speakers/cabinets. They work great with a wide variety of instruments, from acoustic guitar to electric piano, to microphones for singing. I've had these for a long time, they are great & have a great sound. I have no idea of the wattage, I use them strictly at home and they are loud. I have looked all over trying to find these same ones, there is really no price structure to follow, they are a hard find. They stand 52" tall-that's 4 ft 4 inches, 13" wide and 10 1/2" deep. They can be stood tall or laid down lengthwise, there is a handle on each and there are metal feet for use either way (tall or lengthwise). On one cabinet, when lying lengthwise,it is missing 2 feet, 1 is banged up, and 1 is fine. Each has 4 8" speakers and 2 tweeters. These are 16 OHMS. There are some cosmetic nicks, chips, etc-as you would expsect from cabinets that are this old, but the cosmetic blemishes does not affect the sound at all. The best thing about these(other than the sound) is that because they are thin and tall, they are easy to sneak into any area of a room. Sold as is. These are vintage and not flawless in appearance, please realize that-you're buying the sound! (but they're not bad).

   DUE TO THE SIZE THIS WILL BE LOCAL PICK UP ONLY, in Glenolden, PA 19036. Weare just outside Philadelphia, near the airport, and easily accessable from I95 or the Blue Route, as well as all Jersey bridges. If you want shipping, you can contact your own shipper-the size is above, each weighs about 50 lbs, but the shipper needs to be able to pick up on evenings or weekends, & within 2 weeks- I will not wrap them in any way, and no, I will NOT take them somewhere to be wrapped, or to greyhound. If you pick up, feel free to test them before you leave-just let me know that's your plan prior to pick up.

   Please be aware of several things about me, as I have had some recent issues with buyers. First of all, I am just a regular guy, not a dealer, not a big company, and as such, I treat people how I would want to be treated. I give as much info as I can, admit when I don't know, picture an item thoroughly, and always leave it to the buyer to purchase with their knowledge and discretion.
