A Genuine …
ALL ORIGINAL & VINTAGE
Possibly the Rarest and
Vintage Vibroverb Ever Offered for Sale!
Offered for exclusive sale is possibly
the absolute finest and cleanest vintage 1964 Fender Vibroverb ever offered for
sale. This stunningly rare example is in pristine condition, and COMPLETELY
STOCK!!! It's hard to believe, but this 1964 Fender Vibroverb 1x15 combo
amp is completely original and looks like it was purchased last week!
This amp was recently purchased from a
family in middle Tennessee, and has
the look of an amplifier that was used very little in its 46 years of
existence. It has been inspected by noted Nashville amp tech Sonny Deaton, who
concluded the amplifier is completely in its original state, with the exception
of the electrical plug (the cord is original but the plug is a replacement from
the mid-1960s) and "possibly" the rectifier tube. EVERYTHING ELSE
on this amplifier IS COMPLETELY ORIGINAL, including all caps, pots, wiring,
tubes, speaker, etc.
Check out the pictures ... they speak for
themselves. You can also send me your email address and I can send you
additional pictures taken when the amp was inspected by Sonny.
Looking at this Vibroverb, you can
instantly see that it has not gotten much use over the years, if any at all. Amazingly,
the amplifier was stored inside a humidity-controlled home, thus no part of the
amplifier shows any signs of corrosion or wear. It still houses the original Oxford
speaker, the original RCA power tubes, and the original two-button vibrato and
reverb switch. Even the metal cap affixed to the back of the speaker connection
is still intact. Additionally, all of the numbers, dates and codes match up to
properly date this beauty to October 1964.
Here are the details:
Date Code: “NJ” 1964 –
Serial Number: A05139
Power: 125P5D / 606438
Output: 125A7A / 606414
Choke: 125C1A / -606-4-34
Reverb: 125A2OB / -606-4-30
As expected, the amplifier sounds as
incredible as it looks. If you’re looking for that classic, legendary Vibroverb
tone, here it is … Your search is over!!!
This stunning example belongs in the
hands of a player or collector that will truly appreciate it for what it is –
quite possibly the finest Vibroverb in existence today!
I encourage all potential bidders to call
me direct if you'd like to discuss the amplifier or its purchase. You can reach
me at 615-613-1389. I can also provide contact information for Sonny
Deaton for any additional technical questions. Email is fine, too, but I don’t
sit in front of my computer waiting for emails!
stated earlier, I have additional pictures and can send them to you via email
as necessary. Send me your email and I will accommodate as many picture
requests as I can.
Shipping to anywhere in the United States
is fairly clear cut … it will be in a very sturdy box with padding all around
it, with the tubes removed and shipped separately. That said, for obvious
reasons I would prefer the buyer come pick it up here in Nashville, Tennessee.
Call me and we can work out the details.
Shipping this beauty overseas is going to
be tricky because of its value, size, weight and cost, but I’ll do it as long
as you’re willing to pay for all costs, including handling charges. ALL
