You are bidding on a used Marshall Vintage Modern 100 watt amplifier model 2466.  This is a single channel, master volume amplifier with on board digital plate reverb.  It has four 12ax7 tubes in the preamp and four KT66 in the power section.This amp has two foot switchable dynamic modes; high and low.  Low mode is your classic vintage sounding Marshall sound; starts out clean but breaks up the louder you crank the volume just like the older Marshalls.  The High mode introduces an extra power tube into the circuit and turns the Vintage Modern into a fire breathing Plexi to hot-rodded JCM 800 sounding machine.  The preamp has two controls (detail and body) for controlling the preamp high and lows.  It has a mid boost for adding a little beef to single coils.

This amp has some minor dings but looks good and functions perfectly.  There are a lot of amps being made these days with multiple channels and modes, digital onboard effects, and other unnecessary bells and whistles.  If you're looking for superior sound, this is the amp to get.  Rock starts can play what ever amp the want and it's no surprise why Slash, Doug Aldrich, Paul Gilbert, Joe Bonnamassa,and Richie Sambora have chosen the Vintage Modern as the newest addition to their touring rig.  This is one of the few amps Marshall makes that gave rise to an entire website devoted to it (http://marshallvintagemodern.com/index.php).
