Vintage Guitar Amplifiers

Gallien Krueger 250RL 100W Stereo Guitar Amplifier. These were used by Alex Lifeson of Rush in the 80-90s. Really great tone and features. Lightweight but built like a tank.
This is my backup GK (see photo of rack - it is sitting on top). I never had a need to use it because these were about the most reliable amps ever built! The chorus is killer and it has plenty of power to push a stack (I use it with a single stereo 4 x 12 cabinet and it is LOUD!). One of the best features is the ability to custom tailor the gains on both channels by adjusting the internal variable pots. You can customize it anywhere from super clean to atomic meltdown quickly and easily. The speaker outputs on the 250RL are 8 ohm (16 ohms OK) as opposed to the 250ML (the lunch bucket amp with speakers) which is 16 ohms (8 ohms NOT OK) so it can be used with a wider variety of speaker cabinets. This amp was built in 1985 which was confirmed by GK and is in amazing condition. There are some slight scratches but overall it is in incredible shape for an amp 25 years old. All controls, knobs, jacks, and lights are present and work 100%.I am including copies of the owner's manual, service manual (with all schematics and parts list), the email from GK confirming the year built, the instructions from GK to adjust the internal gains, and the power cord. 
Although this amp is designated as an RL (rack) it is one of the rarer RL's made for use on the top of a speaker cabinet (has a handle and rubber feet). The specs are exactly the same as the rack mount version. This makes it much more versatile from a setup point. I have taken great care of this amp (and all my equipment) and it would make a killer addition to any player's arsenal.  Please ask questions before bidding. Since I have no control of how its treated or what it is plugged into after it leaves my possession, there are no returns.
