Vintage Guitar Amplifiers

This is a 1979 Fender Vibrolux tube guitar amplifier. This is in almost BRAND NEW condition as it was not played for 30 years! There are maybe only a handful of these left that are in this condition. Amp comes with original leather amp cover (not pictured, contact me if you would like me to send pictures), original Reverb/Vibrato footswitch, and also come with a Gator Road Case which alone is $175 (one wheel missing, see picture). Has spent the last six months in a smoke free recording studio, amp has all original parts except for new tubes that were installed & biased, and a few caps that were changed by a professional amp technician, the original caps are included in the auction and they are all in perfect condition with no flaws. 
The amp is 40 watts, and very loud. The tone is absolutely amazing, warm/clear highs, tight/punchy mids, and full low end. Comes with the two original 10" blue label speakers. With a strat the tone is crystal clean up to 4.5 and then it has a perfect tube overdrive from that point on. The beauty of this specific amp is that you don't need to push it to 3 or 4 to get a useable warm clean tone, this thing sounds great even on 1.5! So for all the players who like a Princeton or Deluxe this amp will satisfy your need to get a good tone at low volumes for smaller gigs or when volume has to be minimal. The reverb is classic fender tube spring reverb, taking you from mild to intense, and the vibrato also goes from subtle to very pronounced and strong. Many players use a light vibrato as a great substitute for chorus effects. This model also has the push/pull boost on the volume knob, if you use this it adds a ton of volume, treble, and some gain.
