HERE IS A GREAT OLD OLD TIME CAPSULE, THAT HAS BEEN SITTING IN A CLOSET FOR MOST OF ITS LIFE. COMES FROM ITS ORIGINAL OWNER, WHOS PARENTS BOUGHT IT FOR HER IN ABOUT 1961. ELECTRICALLY IT WORKS AND SOUNDS FABULOUS. THIS LITTLE GEM CAN GET PRETTY LOUD FOR ITS SIZE. DO A LITTLE DETAIL CLEANING ON THIS LITTLE POWERHOUSE, AND SHE'LL LOOK EVEN BETTER. THE FILTER CAP HAS BEEN UPGRADED WITH A NEW ONE, LEAVING THE ORIGINAL FILTER CAPACITOR IN PLACE, FOR ORIGINALITY. THE CHROME PANEL IS BEAUTIFUL AND BRIGHT. THE GUITAR SHOWN IS NOT INCLUDED, BUT THERE TO COMPARE ITS SIZE.

This is my 1968 DUAL FENDER SHOWMAN amp head. This is basically a 68 Twin Reverb in a Head version. This amp cab has seen some road work but the case is super solid but the tolex is rough. HOWEVER, the amp inside is near pristine! It has a brand new set up JJ tubes all around. They have about 1 hr on them (just me at home). This amp has gotten a complete going over by my amp tech JIM WALTON of Philadelphia. If you are out of town and dont know who he is, I urge you to Google Jim Walton amp repair on some of the blogs and you will KNOW this amp is in the best possible condition. He is one of the very best. If you have further questions on this amp, you can even give Jim a call and he will tell you ALL you want to know about what he looks at when he checks out an amp. Tell him it was for Charlie X.

There are NO ISSUES regarding the mechanical soundness of this amp. It sounds incredible (of course) and it's power will melt your face. I actually used it for jazz with a vintage non recone 15 inch 4 ohm JBL (which i would also sell with it if interested). It is the bomb, however, at my age now, my back is also 'bombed', so I have to get down to the clarus or henriksen gear now. This is the vintage of Fender that the Beatles used on everything from the white album on.

The reverb tank is an accutronics (installed by Jim). He also lengthend the power cord. Here are the transformer numbers and they are ALL ORIGINAL to this amp.
I dont know the names of each one, so I will just describe it.
Big Black thing: F022756 606923 USA TESTED
Big silver thing in the middle of the amp : 022889 606923
Smaller thing looks like small transformer 5a20b 606-5-26
The REALLY small trans: 022966 606-9-23

That is all the writing on the items. I have more pics but ebay only allows 12, i can send you some close up if u need it.
The amp cab DOES have the thumb screws for mounting it on a showman cab.

See my great feedback and bid with confidence! This thing is HEAVY...about 50+ lbs so shipping will be at least 90 bucks. Local pickup in Philly is fine.
I will have this packed by Fedex and shipped by them. With the packing (about 40 bucks) ur looking at about $125 for shipping packing and insurance in the LOWER 48 only. If you are only a few states away from PA, the shipping could be much lower...in that case I would refund your difference and have done so many times in the past. I do not try to make money on shipping.
NO international on this..sorry.
Please email me with any questions and THANKS FOR LOOKING!! For more about me search youtube for charlie x guitar or jazz volcano. thanks!

Up for auction is a vintage Fender Musicmaster bass (great for guitar) amplifier. One for the collector! This amp spent almost all of its life in the original Fender shipping box. The box went to the trash two weeks ago, it was not saveable. Actual used less than 5 hours. The grille is mint (I can't see any blemishes), The tolex is mint (I can't see any blemishes), the face plate is mint (hard to see any signs of usage). If there is just a thing as mint this is it. The speaker code is 137-7545. So close to NOS but I did use it a few times (actually much less than 5 hours). Take a look at the many pictures. Many more pictures available if needed. Great sounding! Fully tested and it functions as designed. No issues, no mods, no extra holes, no scratchy pots. The many pictures speak to the cosmetic condition. Please ask for more pictures if you want them. Please ask all questions before placing a bid. What you see is what you get. Note: the bottom tolex has some packaging padding stuck to it. Can be easily cleaned but I wanted the new owner to see it. The only signs of age is the platina on the 12AX7 cover, the plastic/rubber handle is dented as if something was sitting on it and the amp brackets and handle brackets show oh so very little age - like all metal parts react to age. Please, please ask all questions before bidding. Please check out my other auctions.

Auction Terms: Please ask all questions before bidding. Serious bidders only. Product sold as is and no returns. Please check out our excellent feedback and bid with confidence! I reserve the right to cancel any bids from people with excessive negative feedbacks. Good luck and thanks for looking
